Orchard House Periodical, Issue 01
The inagural issue. Summer 2026.
Available for purchase until October 5, 2026.
---
For years I have been toying with the idea of writing a blog or Substack, but have been held back because I did not—and do not—want to write for the Internet.
I believe in the written word. I believe in print. And I believe there’s something uniquely human about both writing and reading.
This summer I wrote, designed, and now am self-publishing a collection of articles, essays, and other things I’ve written (with the exception of a few favorite poems that I have not).
The summer issue features a travel journal (with photos!) from my two-week solo trip to Poland, a reflection on my conversion to Catholicism, playlists I’ve made, thoughts on my post-1L identity crisis, and lists of my favorite books and movies to enjoy in the summer — just to name a few.
Since I will only be sending one order to print, Issue 01 is available for order until October 4, 2026. It is $27 (in honor of my recent 27th birthday) and is currently clocking in at about 80 pages.
I hope you order yourself a copy, if for no other reason than to set aside the digital world for a few minutes and look at the pictures.
